RESOLUTIONS: POST1

Somewhere a baby's butt was gently spanked ... Did you hear it cry?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well here it is. It's finally arrived. Amazing  ... it seems just such a short time ago we were at this point, ushering in the past year.

Time flies whether one enjoys it or not.

In the Morgan household, it is the custom to make a list of resolutions. They usually fall into the more common categories. You know the ones ... loose weight ... clean house ... make a million dollars in small, unmarked bills. And in perhaps ... in the more jaded moments ... to stop making New Year's resolutions.

This year, mine is to do a drawing blog. I can feel the shaking heads of doubt through this electronic screen. Some would tell you that I blog as well as I keep my New Year's resolutions. And sadly ... if the truth be told, they are correct. I have attempted more than my fair share of blogs. Blogs about my Disney experiences ... getting married ... animated cartoons ... a story idea ... ventriloquism ... all faded into diminished pixels. And perhaps this one is doomed to share the same fate. Perhaps it should be called "Project Lazarus" as I already had this concept more than a year ago, just sitting on my Blogger dashboard, empty and waiting ... waiting for me to remember the newborn child.

Still ... this is MY resolution. And I welcome you to it. And to come back and see what can be made of it ... if anything.
